If you have forgotten your router's password, please follow the instructions below to resolve your issue.
The router can be set to factory default by pressing the Reset button of the router and resetting through the router's web-based setup page. Pressing the Reset
button on the back of the router for 30 seconds will reset your router
to its factory default settings. Any settings on the router will be
erased and the router's IP address will become "192.168.1.1," the
username is still blank, and the password will be "admin."
To perform a hardware reset on your Linksys router follow the steps below.
Resetting the Router Using the Reset Button
Take note of the current settings of the device before resetting.
Press the Reset button of the router for 30 seconds.

If the normal reset does not work, unplug then plug back the router's power adapter while pressing the Reset button.
To reset the router via its web-based setup page, follow the steps below.

Access the router's web-based setup page. For instructions, click here.
NOTE: If you are using Mac to access the router's web-based setup page, click here.
When the router's web-based setup page appears, click Administration then Factory Defaults.
NOTE: If the screen on your router's web-based setup page looks different, click here.
Look for Restore Factory Defaults and select Yes.
