My son's xbox 360 was having problems reading the game dics - no disc or dirty disc messages would come up. That stopped and it was fine for a few weeks after that, Now when you turn on the power button on the console there are three red lights around the power button. Nothing will play on it and there is nothing on the tv screen either. I did the thing with the sync button to get the code for what error it is and it came up as 0102. So far I have not found anything useful to help resolve this problem. Any ideas?
I suggest using three copper pennies per Ram chip. Use a slight
amount of reusable adhesive to stick the pennies together and then to
adhere to the ram chips. Note: Do not screw the black screws back onto
the bottom of 360, just the silver screws. Also use pennies made before 1983, they're %100 Copper and make better heat sinks. If you don't know what i'm talking about check youtube.

If you are having three red lights flashing around the power button with upper right corner not flashing, it means that your Xbox 360 is having a general hardware failure. This is caused by the internal components of the console experiencing a malfunction. You can contact Microsoft Xbox Support for it to be repaired.
My sons Xbox had the 3 red lights! It depends what colour of light is showing on your power pack the colour indicates what the problem is! The light will either be red, amber or green, my sons light was amber and that was due to a faulty power pack, Microsoft were very obliging and replaced the power pack free of charge,it arrived in 3 working days!
