Dacor ECS127 Epicure Stainless Steel Electric Single Oven

Dacor oven ECPS127S will not heat after self clean (by 3 users)

posted by dweck on Feb 16, 2008

the oven went into self clean mode for 2 hours> it worked flawlessly. after the self cleaning mode and cool down, the oven will not work. Broil convection bake will not work in any mode. the time works. the touch panel works. i shut it off at the breaker tp see if it would clear and then reset the clock. any tricks that i can try?

yes the door unlatched> i even put it back into the self clean mode for 2 hours. the door locked started to count down. after ten minutes. i stopped the process by hitting cancel. it stopped and unlatched the door as it should.

Dacor self-cleaning oven. Set to self-clean 2hrs. Thereafter it won't work. Heats to 125 preheat, but no further.

no real tricks here i will need to pull the manual on it so i can traces the wires to the elements... from what you described the ctrl panel is ok the clicks you are hearing are from the board they are relays closing to send pwr to the heating elements and fans but what i dont know is what is inline before the pwr get there

the problem was fixed by opening the panel between the oven cavity and the touch panel just behinf the door. you can look through the grill but to trip the reset you must unscrew the panel. you will find the reset back behind the wires Looks a red button nestled on top not very open but it should be there> i do have to say i found a step by step description on this site. but right now i can't tell you who exactly he was.
