Re: tubing to water dispenser is broken
Form where to where do you need to replace it?? you can get a roll of the tubing from a decent hardware store, and for the most part all lines run with in the machine are accessable from point to point, even within the freezer door itself should be run through a channel that you'll be able to pull a new line through

Water tube is frozen inside the door. Bad design. I use boiling water, a small plastic flexible tube and appropriate plastic syringe to force very hot water into the tube pushing the small tube into the dispenser tube. At some point it will stop because of the Ice blockage, more hot water through the small tube will soon unblock the line. A retrofit "heater" was available at appliance parts stores. I installed one. It stopped working and I haven't bothered with another. The Ice supply line is separate from the water dispenser and Y's somewhere to get water into the hinge for the door access to the Water dispenser in the door. Hope this helps.
That could prove to be difficult. The doors are usually filled with polyurethane foam. And you may need to remove the inner liner to see if you can gain access to the tube. It is rar that the door dispenser will come out because of that foam. You can try. This hose is usually just a length of 5/16 plastic water hose available at a hardware store.
If the area that is broken is accessable all you need to do is pick up a quick connect coupler of the correct size for the damaged tube available at most hardware stores. To determine the tube outside diameter place a ruler across the surface of the tube and note the measurement. It is most likely 1/4" or 3/8" diameter.
you h ave a project in front of you. you are going to have to remove the door entirely from the cabinet, including electrical and water line connections. you will then have to remove the inner door liner and gasket, to access behind the dispenser module. you will need to pull the line out from the bottom, carefully, and replace with new water line, then replace gasket and liner, and reattach door.
I had a similar problem on a frigidaire side by side. I think the water line may be freezing. My solution was to remove the filter inside the refridgerator and drain it and reinstall. This causes the water to flow into the filter and eliminates any ice in the tubing. I have not had the problem in a while. While not a true fix, it may help narrow it down.
Later on, I eventually replaced the microswitch on the door dispenser for an intermittent dispenser problem.
Your water valve has two seliniod valves. One for the ice maker and one for the drink dispenser. When you push the water dispenser lever, you should hear a small click. It is a micro switch inside the dispensing housing. The plastic frame may be broken that holds the switch. Your water tubing or water tank in the refrigerator may be frozen. A frozen water tank or tubing will not allow you to dispense water. If your water tank is frozen, you may need to replace your air diffuser(damper) if it happens again. It may be leakin cold air. I have these parts on Ebay as username, themackshack. Good luck!, Mack
2 possible problems.
#1 water valve for the water side is stuck in the closed position. Only way to tell is to pull the bottom kick panel out and look for the water line disconnect. Separate the line, close the door and try to draw water through the dispenser. If the water comes out of the disconnected line, then the water valve is good.
#2 if water is coming out of disconnected line, then the problem is in the freezer door. There is a heater that keeps the water line from freezing inside the freezer door. It is not repairable!! The freezer door has to be replaced.
