Tips for a great answer:
1. Download and install "USB Disk Ejector beta 4"
2. Switch PC off.
3 . Connect seagate
4. Power PC on and press F8 while windows booting up
5. Enter just "Safe Mode"
6. when powered up, run "USB disk ejector" and your drive should be displayed. Eject the disk, once it disappears of the list unplug the USB cable and wait for the LED to go off the drive. Then replug the drive back in and wait until "USB disk ejector"recognises the drive and repeat this step a few times 3/4 times then eject and reboot PC in Normal mode.
