What kind of transmision oil,engine oil ?

Harold, According to the 2002 Ford Focus Owner manual,
With engine oil filter change : 2.0 liter SPI engine takes ( 3.78 liters / 4.0 U.S. quarts of 5W-20 )
2.0 liter Zetec engine takes ( 4.25 liters / 4.5 U.S. quarts of 5W-20 )

You can use any oil you chose, and mainly depends on what oil you have in it now. It will say on the sticker when you got you last oil change what oil you have in it now. Match it, or do a complete oil change to make sure you don't gum things up.

Pick an oil that suits your climate. Go to a auto parts and get their recommendations.

For Colorado - I run Chevron 20-50 (20 for the cold and 50 when I am working the truck hard) in my truck and motor home. In the cars I use Castrol 20-40.

The problem here is did he put the right transmission fluid in when he changed it? Changing the trans oil is no problem but if he put the wrong oil in you are going to have major problems because you are damaging your transmission everytime you use it. You will need to check the operator handbook in your glove compartment for the correct type of oil or take the vehicle to a transmission shop where they can change the oil and filter.

I have just cured my low oil pressure (and leaks) by using a stop a leek additive from e-bay. LUCAS engine oil stop a leak. £14.99($22 approx)
It takes a while too get it in the engine as it is extremely thick, but works very well. It evens stopped the slight noise from the oil pump.

You need to use Hyundai Diamond ATF SP-II M or any fluid which lists compatible. I recommend Hyundai brand fluid but aftermarket is ok. The listing would be on the bottle. Do no use Dextron / Mercon fluids.

likely the fill tube is where you check the fluid if it's larger than the oil check tube

have them buy it new stock moter that was orginal in it those dumb asses lol
