Keyboard and mouse sockets supply 5 volts to the items to function, on the mother board there is a fuse, located close to the sockets, replace this fuse and obtain a new mouse and keyboard, there is a short in one of them and it will blow the fuse again, note it dos not look like a normal fuse, it will be surface mounted F! may be printed beside it, good luck

All in one computer and mouse and keyboard are not responding.

Check your keyboard is working or not by accessing your BIOS by pressing del or Esc or F12 (usually) or whatever your boot up screen says. If your keyboard works there then the problem lies in the operating system. If still your keyboard doesn't respond then replace the keyboard.

only if keyboard work, you can fix mouse opearting system problems.

For windows Vista & 7, expand "Mice & other point devices".right click on Microsoft Ps/2 mouse" select uninstall and restart the system. If your mouse is still working the system will automatically installed the mouse driver. And your mouse will work again.

Otherwise get a new mouse.

Note: Check you have wrongly insert the mouse 7 keyboard port at the back too.

Remember : Green for Mouse
                   Purple blue for keyboard

Mouse/keyboard randomly stops responding

Try another keyboard and mouse then repost your findings. If it still does not work the ports on your system may be failing and you can try a usb keyboard and mouse

PC does not respond to mouse or keyboard

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

Mouse stops responding randomly

The issue may not necessarily be with the mouse. Are you able to use the keyboard once the mouse freezes? If you not even able to use the keyboard, there is some application installed on your computer or a virus due to which the mouse freezes. If, in case, the keyboard works even though the mouse is stuck, try changing the USB port or try a different mouse. Please revert back with any other observations. Good Luck
