Question about Lexmark X1270 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Wow - I have been frustrated for the last 2 hours and finally turned it over and shook it and had a pen cap fall out!! now it works fine. Thanks for the help!!

As crazy as it sounded,,,,,I picked it up to shake it and low and behold...out came a pencil. So it is working better now. It is still just a tad bit crooked, but it is working now. When all else fails, shake it!

Following the advice from above, I picked up my Lexmark Z735 and shook it. Although I didn't notice anything falling out, it worked fine afterwards.

I found a thumb tack too and now it works fine. Weird!

I finally cleared the problem by picking up the printer and shaking it--a thumbtack fell out and it works fine (better anyway) since.

This seems to be a design fault as the same thing always happens to me whenI used a Lexmark. You could try putting something next to the paper to level it up. (i.e strip of cardboard perhaps)
