Check the fuses. Because of frozen locks, the motors could not operate, thus overloading the circuit and blowing the fuse.
Hope this helps

Hi there i have a 1998 Toyota Avensis Td.out of the blue my central locking, interior lights stopped working on my car,the clock also loses its memory everytime i go to start the car again it resets al

Use the method of elimination thus check from fuses, loose connections, test circuit relays and finally scan.I recommend that each time you service or need to change a part, have the car scanned first and after the job.Always disconnect battery terminals before working on any sensors etc

Ford mondeo 02plt. Central locking fault

I will say you are having problem with central locking vacuum module.Either that or you are loosing vacuum in the central locking system some where.Diagnostic procedure can be pain in the ***.I would advise you to locate the Module and follow the lines to each door.If rubber vacuum lines are not thorn,I would go and get to salvage yard and get me another module that would be much cheaper. Also there is two relays. One is for unlocking and other one for locking.Try those first before anything else.Usually humidity and cold could damage them.Hope I could help you.

Central locking not being activated by remote

somehow the car when on valet mode, go to a alarm shop , they should be able to re arm your car without to much damage to your pocket, or read your cars manual, it might inform you on how to fix the problem.

Central locking is not working with key or manually from the door I have an avensis that is not on your list

could be as simple as the fuse for the locking system.. use your hand-book to find out where the fuses are and check them out
