Question about Kenmore 55612 / 55614 / 5561 / 655619 Side by Side Refrigerator
Check the mirco-switches behind the panel at the dispenser section. basically, when you depress the lever for water or ice, those levers make contact with a switch, and the switch turns on the ice dispenser motor. if the lever is pushed too hard, the switch can be knocked out of position. I had to re-position my ice switch with some duct tape.
