Re: dishwasher filling up then stopping
Is it going into the wash or just filling and thats it? if it fills and does nothing straight after it is probably the wash motor is jammed or seized. if the d/w starts to wash then stops it may be the heater is faulty.

I believe the Float Switch has been activated, do the following:
- Tilt the dishwasher back 35 Degrees. - Keep it there until water stops running out the side (If any) - Then tilt the dishwasher forward 35 Degrees - Keep it there until water stops running out the side (If any)
This should empty water trapped in the lower part of the Dishwasher, and deactivate the float switch.

you maybe right but before doing machine reset button, you need to clean the machine be sure there's no jam in mechanical parts. also not all machine have reset button outside, some are hide and inside the power supply module so look for it and be careful.
We have just fixed our Asko 3100 dishwasher. You need to undo the screws attaching the unit to the side cabinets. Pull dishwasher out and tilt forward to drain. Put towels down as lots of water. Machine seems ok now and running on a cycle.
you could be usiong way to mauch soap try filling only one of the soap trays or even try doing one wash without any soap at all
this unit tends to do this if you have to much soap in the unit left over from the last load...
beyond that your machine is proibaly tilted to far forward you can lift it, by lowering the front legs begind the toekick
I have a Haier HDP18PA with the same problem... I tried tilting mine backwards while running...this made a mess BUT the beeping stopped BUT the lights were still flashing. Turned it off and started it again and the lights still were flashing BUT no beeping. Decided to try tilting it forward while running ... made another mess BUT the lights stopped flashing. Turned it off again and restarted it and it is now running fine. Good luck!
This usually happens whe you have a blockage in the waste pipe. For some reason, once you've cleared the blockage, the dishwasher doesn't detect that water has now passed through the system, even if you send through more water via filling the base (I did this about 4 times totalling 24litres of water and it still didn't reset).
Tilt the dishwasher back (I only had to tilt it about 30 degrees), this resets whatever switch it is that turns the pump off and allows it to fill with water.
Tilt your washer forwards. Water will leak from the front but once this has cleared your dishwasher should be ok again. I paid an engineer to come and tell me this. If your dishwasher is not completely level this can sometimes happen. Hope this helps.
