I have a Laars Max Boiler 75, 90K with white smoke out chimney

First off they are not suppose to be installing a boiler that is not CSA approved. Your best bet is to contact Laars find out the real truth. I do know Laars was bought out by another company a few years ago, but the Installation company needs to stand by their product and be held accountable.

If unit is not request a new boiler or threaten talking to better business bureau Customers have rights. It also can be a liability to them.

hi. i have mini temp boiler 150 btu 5yers old . it is burning with know radiation .it is up to thempitio .but it will not shut off.flame is good radietor is hot ,help?

Pilot Flame will not ignite

Clean the pilot tube of rust or other debris.

Yes,more then likely its moisture from the high effenicey system of the boiler.

I have a laars boiler at work and some mornings when its cold out it looks like there is a fire, which is really only steam.

As long as your not shutting down on low water failure or loosing pressure and holding temp.This is normal.

Laars 9600 series.

And 2 airco high effeincy gas fired,boilers, at work.

All replacements from 3 old hb smiith oil fired.

And what a big difference in cost!
