It skips first slide (6x6 glass mounted) on the tray alos I have oproblem with jamming slides towards the end of the tray during projection, which requires me forcefully to dislodge the stack slide (two slides jam into a slot) and to reset the setting.

Can I fix the problem myself or do I need to send it for service, if so where to?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Revere automatic slide projector model P-888 It turns on and blower and bulb work fine but I do not know how to open the shutter on the lens to see the slides... any help would be appreciated.

Watch the slides are they loading?, it will very obvious to the ***** eye. The lens has no cover do that is not the problem. It is a common problem that the plastic slide loading arm breaks.

45 year old Slide projector

Ask around your local photo shops for a guy with a long grey beard to ask.

You could try advertising for an instruction book on your local freecycle and if Hanimex is still in business they might help you.

Some of those slide projectors were intuitive as they were completely manual but there were also magazine load, semi-auto and fully automatic versions that could also have a recorded commentary and backing music synchronised to the slide show.

Best of luck friend, have lots of fun with it.

How do I load the ****** Marksman 177 cal repeater

hold in right hand, depress cocking release with thumb, pull back cocking slide (takes some effort) till it locks out, push in on the lower front of barrel to rotate loading port to the up position (this won't move unless the cocking slide is pulled back), load BB in the top hole that is exposed (or a pellet in the lower hole), push loading port back down flush with barrel, push cocking slide forward. Marksman is now loaded. push safety button in so it is engaged. When in an appropriate place to shoot a target, push safety button back with your right finger (safety is off) and squeeze trigger.

How do you load an fn250c 16 ga finish nailer? I cant find an owners manual.

You should be able to locate a finger latch near the head of the machine, along the slide. Pull the slide back towards the air inlet connection. The brads will load into the top of the slide. There is a release on the air line end of the slide. Push the release and the slide will push forward, putting tension on the nails. If the release is difficult, pull back slightly on the slide, and push the release, then let off of the slide lever.

How can I see a Microsoft Power Point slide show, size 3.30MB ?

Unless your picture frame supports Power point files you can't load it straight on to it, but you could try this.
  1. Open the powerpoint file in MS Powerpoint (or download the free powerpoint viewer)
  2. Use the Print Screen button (also marked PrtSc) to copy the screen to the clipboard
  3. Paste into a picture program (such as MS Paint, free with Windows)
  4. Save the files as a JPEG
  5. Load these onto the picture frame
Hope this helps

Properly loading the slide tray

If the first slide is visable and consecutive slides are not, the "dark shutter" (a feature that prevents the eye-popping bright white screen when no slide is present) needs adjustment. A fairly easy adjustment for a factory-trained service dealer with the service manual and the correct tools.

Audio out of sync

Captivate creates a single filestream of each audio clip you add your project. As you make changes to the audio, such as replace the audio on a given slide with a different audio clip, Captivate sometimes ignores your new clip and does not embed or include it in the main audio stream. I experienced many headaches with this issue until I stumbled on a fix that works for pretty much all Captivate audio problems.

Open your original Captivate file that you are experiencing audio problems with. Then in a separate Captivate session, create a new BLANK project with the same screen size settings as your original Captivate file. One by one copy the files from your original into the new blank project. Afterwards you may have to adjust some of your objects on your timeline for a slide or two. Uusually I don't have to do this step unless I have several clickbox items. Once you have copied and adjusted all your slides, save the file and publish. This resolves your audio problems.

Why does this work? I suspect that it creates an entirely new main audio filestream as you copy and past the individual slides for the new Captivate file. I stimbled across this after trying to fix my audio problems by copying all the slides from my original and pasting into a new blank project in one operation. That did not work, then I thought of trying to eliminate the old main audio filestream by this method. Afterwards I repeated this action on all my Captivate projects with audio problems and it fixed all of them.
