Black screen with constant beep.

Unless you oddly have a key stuck on your keyboard (which will make this sound), the constant beep usually indicates that the CPU fan has failed and the CPU is overheating.. check that it is working ok and if this is not the case, please repost.

E-machines T3624 windows xp unit powers up but the monitor reads no signal , the keyboard lights all the lights in a blink but doesn't command , the mouse isn;t recognized

The fact that the monitor displays the "no signal" message confirms that your monitor is getting power and switching on but it's not getting a signal from the graphics card, either due to a fault with the RGB cable between the PC and monitor or a fault in the graphics card itself. If you're convinced that the cable is fitted securely, then the next most common cause of this is a loose or defective graphics card. Taking appropriate precautions against static electricity, open the system case, remove the graphics card and then re-seat it carefully but firmly in the slot (you'll need to disconnect the monitor cable first). Make sure that the copper contact edge is making a secure (i.e. relatively even) connection across the whole length of the card.

Do you hear any beeps? Is this a new problem? Were things OK before?

Are you familiar with opening the case? Do you have the manual?

Inside you can:
Check if the fans run; clear the CMOS;
Re-seat the RAM; Vid Card; CPU; those would be initial tests.
Check for red lights on the front of the case & or the board itself.
If no beeps try starting with the RAM removed: any beeps now?

Let us know if that helps

PC does not boot, no beep, no monitor output but fans and lights work.

Usually if everything inside the case is working (from best you can tell) and the monitor is not coming on it's one of two things.
1.) The video card is bad, if you are using on-board video this isn't too highly likely. To test just replace the video card if possible with any other compatible video card.
2.) The CPU has gone bad, in general I find that this is the most common scenario. Obviously to test you would need to replace the CPU.

Beep problem

Hello niceguy_jes2,
click on this link for the ambulance like sound beep description:
http://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/awardbeep.htm

"High frequency beeps while running". "Check the CPU fan for proper operation. Check the case for proper air flow".

First item to check would be CPU's fan speed. To do this, enter your bios menu. Listed there is "H/W Monitor". Open it. Check the fan speed, CPU temperature & mother board temp. Chances are the CPU fan is turning too slow & it may need to be replaced. (No less than 2300RPM's). Average CPU fan's spin at 3000 plus).
Next item if CPU fan is ok. The thermal grease between the heat-sink & CPU may have dried up over time & cause the CPU to get too hot. You may need to remove the CPU & heat-sink assembly. Clean off all old thermal grease from the bottom of the heat-sink & from the CPU. If you do this, do not scratch either surface. Use house hold alcohol on a clean rag & wipe away all old thermal grease. Apply a tiny amount of new thermal grease. Re-assemble & check through bios H/W monitor, CPU temp. One or the other will stop the system beeps.

Good luck niceguy_jes2!
Post if there are troubles.
Thank you for using fixya.

No beep,No Display on my monitor, only CPU heatsink fan is moving

have you thought about changing the battery on the motherboard, also checking that the fan on the cpu is seated properly with enough heatsink paste as both these issues will stop the pc from booting

No Video

Its easy to test your MB and CPU.
Just remove all components from *********** board, like CD-ROM, DVD disk, HDD, FDD or any PCI or USB component.
Add a speaker to *********** board.
Add CPU, and without RAM.
Now switch on, there must be along beep for RAM not found, if you don't get any beep it means your MB or CPU is faulty.
In other case if you got the long beep, then switch off and add your RAM to MB and switch on again. Now you will get an ok beep. It means every thing is ok.
Now attach your Keyboard and monitor and listen if you get the ok beep or not and also see the monitor there must be light on your screen and message to insert bootable disk.

If every thing is passed ok, then add your HDD and boot.

I think you can do the rest..
Thanks
Iqbal
