Question about Panasonic DMR-EX75EB-S DVD Recorder/HDD Recorder

Any clues on how to copy multiple programmes from my hd to a dvd?

I have been successful in copying a programme from hd to dvd :) Very joyous I was:) but copying the single programme onto the dvd renders it 'Read Only'. I can only record the one programme on the dvd.

Is there a way of selecting more than one programme to be copied, i.e. a way of copying more than one programme onto a dvd before it is made 'read only'? Am I using the wrong dvd maybe? Thanks in anticpation:)

You need to press the Pause button on the remote to select the title(s) that you want copied onto the DVD. I guess that you're pressing 'OK' to select the first title, but this immediately exits the title selection menu and takes you to the next step. Using Pause allows to to select more than one title.

Hi,

Depending on the DVD Media used.
If you used DVD-R Or DVD+R, then these are write once Only.
Once data has been written, and finalised by writting the Table-of-Contents to the Disk. Then no-more can be added. Hence read-Only.
If you use RW/ DVDs then they can be written to several Times. Although your Player may insist on you Formatting/Erasing any previous Data from the Disk. Before re-writing.
If you are using Write Once only media i.e DVD-R Or +R.
Then it would be a good suggestion to write approximately 4 gig of data Or between 2-3 Hours Of entertainment, to 1 Disk.
Re-Writables are the Practical option For You.

Machine will not recognise a new disc when trying to copy a recording

Did the previous machine show EXACTLY the same problem, or did that machine have another issue?

Regarding this one, does the DVD drive respond well to playback discs, such as commercial release DVDs, or DVDs recorded on other machines? Does it play back CDs OK? If it passes these tests, move on to-

I suggest trying to record on different discs - such as a DVD-RAM, or on a different brand of DVD-R, or DVD-Rs from a different batch to your current ones.

If the machine succeeds here, all good and well, if it fails at this point, it seems the machine is faulty and should be returned.

How do I copy a programme I have recorded on the HDD to a DVD-R. I have a 1 hour TV programme recorded on my Panasonic DMR-EH50 hard drive that I want to copy to a DVD-R. Can you help me do this please.

On your machine or on the r/control you should have a copy button,if you press this you should get a menu come up on screen. It should ask you which way you want to copy,so you will go HDD-DVD-R,then press copy again and it should do it automatic, hope this helps.

I can record to the HDD on my LG HR902TA but I can't understand the instructions to get the copy onto a DVD to finialise and use in another DVD player. Thanks Angie

I found the info for this from a friend saying, instead of 'copy' I should see if anything related to 'Dubbing', by following the instructions for dubbing I was able to copy the programme onto a DVD then finalise it for watching in another DVD player elsewhere in the house.I thought if you dubbed something you over wrote the original sound.

You may have CDs stored in the Jukebox taking up space- if so delete them.

You may have images stored in the photoviewer - again, delete...

Have you done any disc backups, and forgot to delete the backup file? Goto bottom of copy menu for disc backup, then in the disc backup menu, choose delete backup file.
