Question about Samsung SGH-G600 Cellular Phone
I do not want to use NSpro 3,7 because it is too expensive(you can buy another new cell phone with such amount of money). Is there any freeware to reprogram/flash IMEI back into Samsung SGH-G600 memory??
The following worked fine on my Samsung SGH-G600 which was on 02 and now can be used with any sim:
AND THEN *#7465625# to check the locks....all locks are inactive...these are all the locks...
network lock - inactive
subset lock - inactive
sp lock - inactive
cp lock - inactive
sim lock - inactive
activa lock - inactive
phone lock - inactive
auto network - inactive
auto subset lock - inactive
auto sp lock - inactive
auto cp lock - inactive
auto sim lock - inactive

If your IMEI is coming up as 00000 0000 000 then your phone is essentially a brick. No codes or new sim cards will change this, plus no phone retailer or mobile unlocking business in your high street is going to go anywhere near it because they will be scared that its a stolen handest.
The only solution is to plead with someone in a mobile phone shop that you followed an idiots advice on the internet and typed the code *#7337# and reset your IMEI and you want it changed to the original IMEI on the back of your handest, or possibly send the phone back to the retailer. Will cost at least £20 to sort this out and allot of hassle im afraid to anyone who has done this.

I had the same problem. One mobile shop said that they should report me because changing the IMEI is illegal. In the end I got a guy on Ebay to fix it. I had to send the phone to him, but at £12.99 inc postage it was worh it just to get my IMEI restored and the phone unlocked properly. It was a quick service, posted back the same day, just wish I had used it in the first place.
Ebay ID was 355jw if you are interested.
