You will need to download codec for watching specific movie.
Movie you are trying to watch must be in different codec that available on your computer.

When watching video clips online or movies through the dvd player, the video or movie starts to skip, the words dont match peoples mouths.

Depending on the manner you are watching video this can be a couple things. You could be out of synch on your internet connection please check the time and date on your PC and the month and year.

On the hardware side this could be a video card driver if you do not have sufficient video processing power this can also happen. Otherwise there are many source of movies that have been recoded and the actual source has some synch issues. One way to test this is to look at a video on youtube.com if the video is out os synch then this could be yourminternet service or your PC. If your PC still does this from a DVD then you simply do not have the processing power in your video card or are lacking memory. Look at enhancing your video card

DVD region is locked

There is no regional code setting for the DVD drives in laptops. This is all handled by the codec or DVD decoding software. You will need different decoding software or software that covers all the regions. I use Power DVD and have had no problems with some DVD's from France and Germany that a Friend of mine likes to watch. Ran into the region problem with home DVD players for his movies. Unfortunately, I'm only fluent in English, so I don't find them as interesting as he does. Try a different decoder, it should work. You should be able to find decoders or codecs at download.com
