Installing NVIDIA grahics

I guess you mean download and install nvidia graphic drivers.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "nVidia Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download and install the Video drivers.

You can also try downloading drivers from Driver Guide.

Why nvidia graphics not supported to my window 7 ultimate

NVIDIA refuses to roll out drivers supporting Graphical Processing Units that where designed for windows XP and Vista due to known issues with the Windows Vista Operating System misusing system memory while processing graphic data. This has imposed a problem with constructing drivers for windows 7 as they completely removes aspects of windows that are crucial to to those components continual function. Your best Luck is to roll your video drivers back to how windows originally installed them and ignore windows update's assurance of newer updated drivers.
If this doesnt work, then windows xp will start calling your name very shortly (still my fav OS of the decade) GOOD LUCK AND PLEASE RATE THIS POST!!!!

I reinstalled operating system (windows xp). Now my screen is "glitchy" or slow to respond, is this a driver problem or computer issue?

I think it is a probable driver issue and as XP is very limited on drivers being an obsolete OS I would go to dell.com and see if any drivers will fit your use.

Hi,

The Video Adapter of your laptop is Mobility Radeon 7500. Recommended drivers are limited to the manufacturer's website which is Windows XP. Windows Vista or 7 should have a native driver for your type of Graphics Adapter. Should you need a much higher version of your VGA driver (Windows Vista or 7), you may contact ATI/AMD.

I hope this works for you. Good Luck!

Toshiba Portege 7200 i try to fomat it it does no format why

Windows won't as a rule allow format of an older system onto a newer system, it goes into protect mode.
If you are trying to format the laptop with say XP and you have XP with SP3 installed, because SP3 is newer than XP it will try to stop you from destroying the newer system. Matbe you are running out of space?

My acer aspire 4315 hangs during shutdown. windows XP OS

Hi,

This happens when there is a process still trying to work in the back end.

Try to disable most of the applications which get opened by default when windows starts.

Click on start/run/ and type msconfig. Once the window comes up click on start up tab and disable all.

Now try to reboot the system.

Also hope there is no usb device connected at the time of shut down. This would also make xp hang.

Thanks

Need help adding drivers. All I have is the C drive and I put my sd card in and nothing happens???

Sorry ,not sure what your talking about, windows has most generic
drivers such as for your hard drive or your PC would not boot.
The drivers that are needed after windows is installed are chipset, graphic, lan(network, ethernet,) touchpad, wireless, sound.

Unless you reinstalled windows you should have all the drivers,if not
your touchpad would not work, no sound, and could not go on internet. But if for some reason there is a problem and the driver stopped you can look at the link I posted below, there are two files
for memory card the original controller, and a patch, the patch could be for a problem that is happening with usb, You should download both and install, install the controller first and then the patch and see if this resolves the problem,if not post back and let us know what happened and exactly what you lap says.

***** Make sure that you look above the drivers and pick the right operating system,I think that when you open the page, it is showing the vista drivers, so if you have xp make sure you change it to xp.****************

I wiped clean the windows me that originally came on it.i did a fresh install of xp with service pack 3.i also added 256 mgb stick of ram to the 128 that it allready had.i bought a 400 gig external to make...

install all the latest drivers for your computer from the manufacturers website for the motherboard ( chipset drivers ) the graphics card ( which will help with the display ) and your network card and anything else you need to install driver wise.

This will allow your operating system ( windows xp sp 3 ) to know how to use or communicate with the hardware devices ie graphics card, motherboard etc.

Collapse in graphical view and hang!

You say you replaced the graphics card?
Either way, this is one of two things. Hardware (a faulty display card) or drivers. If it is an old card, or you did a driver update recently, go to your device manager, and roll back to your previous drivers. if this doesn't solve the problem I recommend getting the latest drivers for your display card, installing them and seeing what happens.

Hope this solves your problem!
