No water coming out of valve in back of refridgerator when button is pushed\

Warning you may have to test electrical circuits with the power live .Is there water flowing into the connection on the unit ? If not look for shutoffs or a crimped supply line. If you have water pressure You will need to know how to an electrical tester or multi meter to test the water inlet valve. You can test for voltage on the solonoid while someone activates the switch for water If you have voltage when the switch is activated the inlet valve could be bad or the tubing feeding the dispenser is frozen or pinched you can loosen the water line that goes to the refrigerator to check for flow with switch activated If you have no flow replace inlet valve if you have flow check that the waterline is not frozen crimped or pinched. If no voltage appeared during the voltage test , Test the switch and wiring and repair as necessary.

How to shut off water on GE ZIS480NR

If water continues to flow without pressing the dispense button or the water continues to flow into ice maker the cause is most likely a defective dual water control valve. The correct replacement for your ZIS480NR is=> WR57X10032 Dual Water Control Valve.3_6_2013_7_57_28_pm.jpg

Water will not flow into ice maker

Not typical for both sides of your=> WR57X10032 Dual Water Control Valve

but this is possible. You will need to do some testing of the control valve found at the link above or HERE If there is no problem with the part then you will need to turn water off and disconnect water line feeding the refrigerator. Place the water line into a bucket and have someone turn water back on so you can see if there is something blocking or restricting flow to your refrigerator. I will be here to answer any questions you may have, Thanks Sea Breeze

Water won't come out of dispenser. ice works fine

Your refrigerator is equipped with a dual water inlet solenoid valve assembly . It is likely that the solenoid valve that controls flow to the water dispenser is faulty. Click here for a tutorial on How to Test Inlet Valve.

GE Profile Side by side model number TFH22PR. Works great, but ice maker not working. It produces water from door just fine, but no ice. What's up with that? Clogged somewhere?

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with check the water line attached to the back of the refrigerator for good water flow. To do that, first turn off the water supply valve. Then remove the water line from the back of the refrigerator. Next, place the water line into a bucket and momentarily turn the water valve back on to test the flow. If the flow is poor, you need to repair, clean, or replace the tubing or the shut-off valve that supplies the water. If the flow is good, you may have to replace the water inlet valve. If still the issue is not resolved then remove the ice bin, Remove the wires from the auger motor. With the freezer door open and the door switch depressed, push the ice cube release and check for 120VAC between the motor wires. If there is 120VAC then the motor has gone bad. If there is no 120VAC then the control board (module time delay) has to be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Water dispenser sticks open on model TFX25ZPBEWW

If you unplug the WR57X10026 Twin Water Control Valve on the rear of the refrigerator near floor will the water flow stop. Then plug that back in and unplug the refrigerator doest the water stop? I need to find out if the water control valve on the rear of the refrigerator is leaking while turned off or if the dispenser control board is sticking with the power turned off. Your model comes with 2 different choices of water control valves.let me know Thanks, Sea Breeze

We have a fridgitarie side by side we want it to despence cube, but only get crushed, even when we have cubed light on

Hi

When an ice maker is producing ice poorly--when it produces just a few cubes or none, or when the cubes are too small--it's usually because of a clogged water line or a defective water inlet valve.

First, check the water line attached to the back of the refrigerator for good water flow.

Please do rate this solution as "FixYa" if found useful and revert for further assistance.
Thanks

the problem is most likely the water valve behind the machine. it is closing too slow and letting too much water flow into the icemaker. c30b276.jpg
