Question about BenQ M310 Wireless Mini Optical Mouse
I just got a BenQ M310 wireless mini optical mouse and started using it last night. It worked really well last night and this morning but all of a sudden the mouse became very uncooperative. The mouse suddenly stopped giving me a smooth performance, meaning the pointer wasn't moving smoothly when i moved the mouse.
Also, the mouse wouldn't recognize any of its button clicks. Left click, right click, or even the scroll button won't respond at all.
I just popped in the new batteries that came along with it, and i don't see any indication of a low-bat status...
So what gives?
The BenQ M310 mouse needs to "sync" with the USB receiver. Need to push the two buttons at the same time, or maybe the one in the mouse first then push the button in the USB receive so the two can "sync" to each other. This may solve this problem. Good luck!

A wireless mouse comes in two components - one the mouse and second the usb receiver. Both these components have buttons on them. In case of mouse it is below and in receiver its above. After putting batteries in the mouse (it should show some light) and connecting the usb reciver to pc try pressing the buttons in diff combinations. First press the mouse button once and try moving the pointer. If this does not work, press the button again and try moving the pointer. If this does not work, press the button on the usb receiver and try moving the pointer. If this does not work, press the mouse button again. This must work.

Go the settings for the mouse.this problem is often related the fact that you are sitting or have placed the mouse at the opposite side of the receiver since the least interferance can cause undisired result.consider placing it at a location where both the mouse and the receiver are visible together.
secondly your mouse settings does count a lot and setting it to respond fast can also cause such problems.
set up the mouse properties as follows.
go to the start menu>> control panel>> printers and other hardware
click on "mouse"
you should see the mouse menu
under speed settings change it to the lowest "minimum"
now press the button under the mouse and that of the receiver within 10 seconds to reset it.
you ahould also note that the mouse has a power saving function so when not being used for some time it goes into power save mode and by clicking on any button and moving it should bring it back.

Usually if it's under warranty take it to the computer shop where you bought it.
