This "solution" had nothing to do with the problem. I just wanted a simple yes or no. Is it worth it to have it fixed?

I dropped it and now it won't turn on. How do I fix it?

Hi,
Whats the model? Take a deep look at the screen even if it doesn't appear damaged as the slightest crack on lcd may render it 'dead'. If cracked, may require replacement.

thanks,

MY SCREEN INSIDE THE TV APPEARS TO BE CRACKED WHEN YOU TURN THE TV ON. IS IT FEASIBLE AND COST EFFICIENT TO REPAIR

It may look like it is cracked but it isn't. A plasma panel can't function if cracked as it would evacuate the gases contained in the panel. What you are seeing is most likely delamination of the screen. This sometimes happens on its own but usually occurs when the TV is moved or stored incorrectly. The elements of the panel actually detach themselves from each other and the bonding between them is what you see. This is assuming the glass screen on the outside portion of the panel hasn't been cracked.

The screen will cost more than the whole TV! Sell it on EBAY for parts.

Broken LCD screen on the inside

They will repair it for $50 if you send it in to them, otherwise you can probably get a screen on ebay.

If it was hit hard enough it damaged the display panel, therefore would not be feasible to replace. They cost as much as a new set.

Dropped my SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 player- screen broken

Probably not. Open a ticket with the sandisk.com support and see if you can get it replaced if it's under warranty. you may have to call because they are kinda slow at getting to the tickets.

Thank you and please respond with any comments or more questions.

Dropped PDA

You don't have to crack the screen if it is LCD. The "bleeding into the screen" and "black lines" could be symptoms of leaking liquid from the damage/impact of being dropped. Where you send it for repairs would depend on the manufacturer, the store you bought it from, and if you have a service plan or not.

Let us know what the situation is.
