user name and pass word for what exactly ? you have keys and passes printed on the bottom of the router and if its to open your routers ip address they are usually admin for name admin for pass
Default Login Id & Pass will be printed on your dish router.
Open the web browser &go to the page using the add printed on the router, followed by Login Id & pass.
There you will have the option for resetting the pass.
Finally reboot the router.
Hello. You can always reset the router and use default authentication. (user: admin; pass:admin or user: root; pass : root or user: admin; pass: (blank), etc) To reset the router it must have a small button that needs to be pressed for 10 seconds or so. All the best !
To akd56 - tks for yr earlier advise, I got as far as "connect to a network" which asked for my security key / pass phrase when setting up which I now forgot.
If you forgot the password for the router, what will be your next option is to reset it back toi default settings and run again the setup CD for the router, To reset it Press and hold the reset button for 15 seconds while the power is ON then after that you can now run the setup CD for the router and its back to admin as the default password.....
