It has a fine ring clamp. find it and check it if its broke. they don't normally comes off easily. you will need a phillip screw driver to tighten it. unloosed it first, put the ring inside the gasket, then force the gasket gently to the metal round frame, then tighten the screw. i hope i was able to solve your problem. tnx

Miele w4840 door rubber seal relacement

i just replaced rubber gasket on miele w4840 it took lots of patience! there is a retaining wire on spring on front part this is easily removed. next there is a light and water line about 11 o'clock take this apart and unhook water line in order to remove these from gasket. next there is a locking wire on right side at 9 o'clock. i was able to get a flat head screwdriver and loosen the screw you can open about 1 -1.5 inch at this point the rubber seal can be removed. you have to carefully (painstakingly) put the new seal on. make sure everything is lined up right before replacing the wires took me about an hour as the gasket is difficult to put on back part on drum

Amana NFW7200TW washer - door seal ring has detached

The ring is a clamp that keeps the rubber part, called the bellow, attached to the front panel of the washer. To reinstall hook the edge of the bellow around the lip of the opening in the front panel (the hole through which you put your laundry). Then take the clamp and seat it in the groove of the bellow behind the lip of the front panel. The spring on the clamp should pull the bellow tight to the opening of the panel.

Mold on and behind the rubber gasket in the front opening of the machine! I need to know how to remove and prevent.

A combination of bleach, a rag or toothbrush, and your time will remove the mold. Be sure to run a load of whites on the next load. Bleach, you know.

Leaving the door open between loads should prevent this problem from repeating itself. The machine will have a chance to air dry. Only front loaders seem to get this. The top load machines are not sealed water tight, of course. Good luck

Rubber gasket

Hi,

Feel around the seal, in the groove behind the seal face. You'll find a spring at the bottom. With a small screwdriver, lever the spring over the seal face. Work the steel ring off. Fold the seal inside the washer. Unplug the washer, Remove the door, and set aside. Locate your panel screws and remove the front, exposing the drum and basket. There are usually additional screws under the dispenser trays too. Disconnect the door lock wires. Locate the other spring/ring assembly on the outer drum, and remove. Orient your new seal properly and reassemble. The only difference on the reassembly is that, when you are putting the rings back on, start 180 degrees from the spring, and work the ring back on until you get to the spring. Carefully lever the spring back over the seal face, being careful not to damage your new seal.
