Al1715 problem The al1715 will come on at times and other times the green lite blinks and nothing happens .?

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Only get Welcome screen and green blinking lite. Then shuts off. Buttons locked out also. Need to get software update V41C-11.3 Mitsubishi-tv.com. Go to support then software update. A blinking green light usually indicated that your connected to a wifi connection or a ds to ds link.

unplug monitor for pc then plug back in and tighten up

Look at the power supply first, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

how many times does it blink and need make and model of tv set.

Ditto... except my daughter is 10. Both screens remain black, are fully charged and green light stays on for more than 4 minutes.

Check Battery is akaline or better and fresh. Try new ones from different packs. Brand new batteries can be bad. For further steps see my post on Zmate MP3.

This works if you boot the monitor with a pc, open the osd menu and go to reset. reset the monitor.
