My Fisher and Paykel also has fault code 136.

Called a F and P technician, he said he has never heard of that error code nor could he contact anybody who had.

Does anybody out there have a solution???

i get the 136 fault usually when doing a smaller load. I turn it off then on again and adjust to the next rinse cycle to continue.

My F & P Intuitive Eco IWM10 can be turned on but keeps saying "filling" but there's no water sound. We checked the hose and we checked for blockage but there is no evidence of it. We tried to spin but it doesn't do it either. it used to tell us the fault code but not now.

What is error code 136 on a fisher & paykel IW709AU top load washer

136 fault is 'motor stall'...Quite often this is a broken wire to the motor. However it could also be a Motor fault, or Rotary Position Sensor problem. Water damage can cause this fault as well. After a visual check for broken wires or water damage, and if your machine is in good condition, you should consider a tech....Good luck...Nomess

Our Fisher & Paykel Washing Machine is not spinning. It gets to the spin cycle and sits there counting down. The fault code eventually said Service fault 37. What does that mean?

Emptied washer, tipped it on its side, detached drainage pipes underneath, and pulled out old fabric/lint/blockage with tweezers. Plugged in, switched on, all good.

Fisher & paykel intuitive Fault code 136

Sounds like a motor problem Check the motor harness, connectors and motor for discontinuity. This can be done by taking a resistance measurement between phases of the motor harness at the motor control mudule end.should be approx 32 ohms. You can also check at the motor,I have seen a few open circuit connections where the motor connections (spade clips) Push into the plastic motor housing,Hope this helps.
