Question about MP3 & Digital Media Players

1 Answer

Product manual missing

I bought an EzCool MP34 Touch digital player and the disk it came with does not have a downloadable manual on it. The manual that comes in the box with the unit is poorly written and has no instructions on how to download videos to the player. There's an AVI converter program on the disk, but this has no help file! I've contacted the supplier, but they're dragging their feet and tell me they're not sure when/if they can send me the downloadable manual. This is really frustrating as I want to be able to start using the thing right now.
Can anyone please help me with this? Thanks.

Sorry, IB4G2008 - I'm new to all of this. Where did you say the manual link is?

OK, thanks. Wonder if I can get Windows Vista to translate the manual for me - LOL.
I bought the unit from a company called DealsDirect here in Australia. I contacted them about the problem and they passed me on to the supplier - Powerhousepc. I've contacted them, but the guy wasn't too helpful and said he'd try and get me a manual 'when he could'from the manufacturer.

Yup - got the cable. I tried downloading some songs from Windows Media - just 12 from one album - and the sync function seemed to work OK, so I left it to do it's stuff whilst I went out shopping. When I came back, it had downloaded my entire library!

When I first switched the unit on it was in Russian! That was fun. Managed to get it to display in English finally. And you're right about the manual being translated from Chinese - in parts it's impossible to understand. I'm a professional proofreader - maybe I should offer them my services:)

that's what I figured. saw the aussie connection. The manual you have is most likely translated from Chinese.

so your computer can see it. I'd recommend, pending the manual availability, to set that device up, in windows, as a Network drive, if possible, then just load the movie files in Save As mode. I've seen this with early stage MP3 players, in the olden days.

if you want actual help you need to post several important things, one being the actual name of the player, two being the type [i.e. apple 5th gen ipod, ipod touch, ipod shuffle etc.] and your operating system. seeing as the little information posted is in a way valuable the only thing i can say is possibly the player doesnt support the files. sorry =[
