Toshiba L100 equim memory update

I have got a crappy 256 memory and have purchashed 2gb (2x1g memory) and have attempted to install however when i have snapped the new memory the laptop will not recognise the install. i had an initial problem where the pc would not even start up. i have therefore re-entered the 256 memory and have managed to get on line. Is there anything i need to do to get the pc to regonise the new memory. Also, will this spec PC accept an upgrade from 256 to 2g ?

Try this, get a pencil eraser and rub it on the copper portion of your memory ( 2gb ). insert it on the memory slot, power on your pc and go to the set up menu.( You can go to the set up menu by pressing F2 or delete key on your pc once it boots up ). and check if your system recognizes the RAM ( memory ) you inserted. Let me know if you have any other question.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!
