Mitsubishi WS-65313 - Will not turn on

I have a mits WS-65313, and the other day I went to turn it on and the green power light come on for about 2 secs. and then shut down. The tv itself will not come on. Took the back cover off and something near where the power cord comes into the tv set will click a few times when you turn the power on. Also if i unplug the unit and then plug it back in, the green power light will blink for a few secs.

The front green light blinks constantly and the tv will not turn on either with remote or by the front button of the tv. The owner's guide talks about a timer and at one point the green light stopped and we were able to turn the tv on by remote, however, after about a week it started again and the green light will not stop even after unplugging the power and pushing the reset button.

My tv wont come on either the green light just keeps flashing, did any of you figure this problem out?

try pressing the MENU and DEVICE(or INPUT whatever the tv has) buttons on the front panel after the tv shutsdown and count the sequence of blinks. that is considered an error code.

The most common failure are the two convergence integrated circuits part # 267P173010. The two pico fuses may be open as well, which come from the power supply and provide +24 volts and -24 volts.

Follow the color code green for green, red for red, blue for blue, ignore the yellow wire, also be aware that there is an audio cable that is red also that wire goes into the Right channel audio and the white wire goes to the Left channel audio

Hi. i believe this to be either of these three problems.
1. Power: it could be that there is a problem with the power electronic element(s). the solution is to go see an engineer.
2. Screen: if the television uses LCD display, it could be a problem with the liquid in it. Solution is to see an engineer.
3. Sleep mode: the TV could be in sleep mode which makes the screen go blank until removed from sleep mode. Solution is to read the TV's users manual to see how to wake a sleeping TV. Get back.

Mitsubishi WS-65713 Blinking green light. TV will not turn on!

These Mits TV's tend to have power supply problems that are well documented on the web, when the symptom is as you describe. And this assumes no other unusual noises were heard before the TV went into shutdown.

The repairs are fairly straight forward if you are comfortable with electro-mechanical dis-assembly, soldering repair, and re-assembly.

Just do a search on Mitsubishi (your model number) and capacitors.

Mitsubishi WS-65313 65 in. TV will no longer power up.

You should call a good TV Tech. This problem cannot be solved by a consumer. The one thing you might try is to unplug it from the wall for a few minutes and then try it again.
