Where is the starter solenoid on a 1994 Toyota pickup. V-6 2 wheel drive. Is it on the passenger side close to the cab.

I think you'll find that the solenoid is part of the stater assembly itself. If the V6 is anything like the 4 it isn't especially fun to remove the assembly.

I need to replace the doors because of rust.

The salvage yard is 100% wrong. 4Runner doors are markedly different. No 4Runner with 4 doors will fit any pickup truck
The only way to get a door that fits is from a TWO door 4Runner.

1993 Chevy 1500 pickup 4-wheel drive

I replaced the malfunctioning “thermal actuator” with the “Warn” Vacuum actuator setup, it’s been working great for about 7 years now, simple install, if I remember correctly, it was about $150.
That’s what engages the front diff into 4wd.
