On my 2 gig iLO mp3, i have a bunch of downloaded songs. there's a big folder on my computer (or when i have the mp3 plugged in, the E:/ folder) with all of these songs. on another topic, someone suggested changing the name of the songs under properties>summary> advanced. that worked perfectly for some of them. i wasnt going to waste time, so i only did it on the first 7 or 8 songs, and the actually name appears, not a ~.mp3 or whatever it is. so i went back and did it with the other songs, and the name appears correct when im playing it, but not on the list.
so what i need is someone to tell me how to fix the name on the list. thanks in advance.

I connected to my Laptop and created folders to contain different albums or songlists. If you want songs sorted by artists or name, that also can be done on a PC folder prior to selecting and copying back to the MP3 player. This worked for me.
To download music into your mp3 pplayer, you first need to download music to your computer. So you can download music to your computer from any music sites like www.123musiq.com or download.music.com and save it in the folder you want. Now when you open, "My Computer" , you will find a folder named after your connected mp3 player. Now copy the songs you want and paste it into this folder. Now you will have all your songs into the mp3 player.
plug your mp3 into your computer then open up my computer. [start, my computer, it will read as a removeable drive open it up and there should be your files in there. you will be able to organize your data like any other folder. let me know if it works. good luck
-Plug in your mp3 player -Go to your folder with all your songs 'My Music' and find your music files. -Either select all your songs, open them with 'Windows Media Player' and transfer them that way. -Or 'Open My Computer' then open 'iLo' and drag the songs from where your songs are located [My Music] to the 'Music' folder in your iLo folder. [MyMusic] Song.mp3 >drag to> [MyComputer/iLo] Music.
-Plug in your mp3 player -Go into your downloading program, select a song and go 'Locate file/Open Containg Folder', you should be in your folder with all your songs. or go 'My Music' and find your music files. -Either select all your songs, open them with 'Windows Media Player' and transfer them that way. -Or 'Open My Computer' then open "iLo" and drag the songs from where your songs are located [My Music] to the 'Music' folder in your iLo folder. [MyMusic] Song.mp3 >drag to> [MyComputer/iLo] Music.
Click on MY COMPUTER after clicking start button and you will see your ilo drive..Just open up the drive and you will see the songs right click on the song and delete it. You may have to click on some of the folders to see your song..Also you can right click and rename the song or add new folders just like you would in any hard drive...BGH =Big gaint Head
