You can connect a digital camcorder to Panasonic DMR-EZ47 via the DV input terminal to transfer your home movies to a DVD. It should work for Canon DC20 as well.

cheers.

System requirements vary depending on the DVR. TiVo DVRs work with standard cable, digital cable, antenna, or satellite receiver input. If you have a satellite receiver, the TiVo will accept satellite input and input from another source simultaneously. TiVo works with VCRs and DVD players and requires a dial-up modem or a DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) Internet connection and DSL filter. ReplayTV devices have similar requirements, but they are also network-ready. If you have a home network and two ReplayTV devices, you can share programming between the devices. TiVo will not work with HDTV (high-definition television) or Big Dish (C-Band) Satellite System receivers; ReplayTV devices, on the other hand, will work with HDTV.

How do I connect my panasonic vhs 188 camcorder to a dvd recorder?

Hi,

On these old models of VHS camcorder, I recall they have either RCA outputs, or BNC connectors which will require a BNC adaptor (to convert to RCA).

Using a 3RCA lead, connect the camcorder to the video (and audio) inputs of your DVD recorder.

The disk plays fine in the camcorder, but not when I put the disk in a computer. I finalized the disk before i put it in the computer.I

you need to install the dvd playback software on the Pc to read the disk. the codec of the camcorder is not installed so the Pc can't read the video format. use for exemple dvdplayer you can download it from this link it's free: http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-DVD-Player-Software.htm

Either my computer or dvd does not read movies recorded by this camcorder. Why?

hi. in many DVD camcorders. you are suposed to closed o finalize the dvd disk . by doing this it will be playback compatible with your pc or dvd player.

NOTE
after finalizing a disk you will not able to record any longer on that disk (DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RAM, DVD RW) If you record for 5 minutes and finalized the dvd it will have a 5 min movie !!!

How do I work my camcorder

What brand of DVD recorder? On my Panasonic, I use RCA cables to connect my camcorder to the yellow and white inputs on the front of the DVR. I have to press "input select" on the remote a few times until I get to L2, I think. This is a "line in" sort of setting and it directs the DVR to get its input from the RCA-style cables. Have your camcorder playing something you've recorded in its Video mode. If your TV is on the correct input (mine is called "Video 2", I think), you should see the camcorder image on your TV screen. Now, just rewind to the beginning of your camcorder tape. Insert a DVD-R disk (that's what mine takes) in your DVR. Hit Play on your camcorder and quickly press REC on the DVR remote. Let me know if this doesn't work.

Cannot copy video from JVC GZ-HD6 camcorder to DVD Recorder

If you can play the vision on your tv via an av connection you should be able to record it onto the recorder. the recorder can record anything thats being played on the tv even if the other device is connected to the tv via another av connection. try this & see if it works.

Mini-DVD playback

two things:

1) connect the camcorder to your computer using a USB cable and play it through that, by the way, what computer is it?

2) you can finalize without the ac adapter - its a built in safeguard to ensure that there is enough power to allow finalization to complete

your dvd is a player . . . and . . . recorder ? ( check your user manual ) ; with a firewire connection - all devices communicate , without a computer to mediate controls - so your user manual is necessary , if no video is displayed on your monitor .

How to Record From a TV Using PV-GS13?

connect a lead via your tv video out audio out jacks. Select tha appropriate channel (You may have to go through the av channel on you tv and tune in the channel you want to record) or, video or dvd player audio out video out jacks. connect other end to your camcorder. Select on the camcorder menu video in audio in. Turn on tv. If connected to video or dvd player, press play. Press record on your camera. When finished recording press stop. Presuming the camcorder is tape, you can buy a tape adaptor to play or record your mini tapes in a standard video recorder, then take them out of the adaptor and play them back on your camcorder. You can also do all this via a computer. Also if the camcorder is disk or hard drive it can be used the same way as a regular dvd recorder to record tv programmes once connected to you t.v. Let me know how you go 26 red
