Hi, i have here a photo that will show you on how to remove write protect on a micro SD.
1. You need to insert your micro SD into an adapter.
2. Unlock the micro SD through your adapter as shown below.
3. Once done, your micro SD is no longer write protected.
The lock switch doesn't lock the micro SD into the adapter;
The lock switch doesn't lock the data on the micro SD;
The lock switch simply tells the "user" not to write.
It just says "please, don't write me."
I hope this helps.
i dont think you need a password for a micro sd card.but in the case you do theres not much you can do since theres no operating system on a micro sd card. the only way to do this is to download a program that can format your card. unfortunately it will erase everything. maybe i can help more by telling me a little more about your problem :)
first try to put the same code/password as of your old phone if it will work then good
try to unlock with the new phone code.
if none of them work
then format the card from pc and format using FAT not FAT 32.
this will solve your problem.

i have microsd card 1gb card of kingston. it is locked & i want to unlock my memory card without losing my data. so pls send me tips for unlock the meemory card
i forgot my password...pls help me unlocked it without losing my files n data... i forgot the password of my micro sd memory card 1 gb , i don't bother about data, how to open , pl explain.
To my knowledge unfortunately, there is no way to unlock without the password. The only information I can share is to have it reformatted. If formatting could not be performed likewise (due to password restrictions), pls try using a memory card reader attached to a PC and running HP USB Utility (cp006049.exe).
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
