You have to calibrate the printer to solve this problem
Check following to solve this problem
1)Press the feed button and hold it for 1-2 seconds switching printer on.It will calibrate the labels.
2)Install Zebra Designer driver from CD.After installing Zebra designer Add printer Zebra Designer LP2824.After installing driver right Click the printer Zebra Designer LP2824 and go to printing preferences then select advanced option and calibrate printer. It will calibrate printer
3)Check the label size is properly set in printer or not.Label width and label height in printer settings should be same as label which you are using .
Do you know if you are using a label software program to design the label or just ZPL (which is Zebra Programming Language) code direct to the printer? If it is software, then you can open that label design software file and remove the barcode. If it is ZPL, then you need to remove it from the code. I can help with this if you can email me the code.
Try slowing down the speed of the printer. Faster speeds degrade the quality of your print. Try printing your serial (ladder) barcodes at 2-4 inches per sec. It should improve the quality of your format.
Yasemin, the most practical solution is to design your label on a software like a label matrix or zebra designer and print to a file and have the ZPL codes.

Can you print the barcode using the software that come with the printer. Zebra TLP2844 come with basic Designer software. Test whether it's printing the barcode or not.
IF it prints the barcode via its software, then you might be having barcode font problem between your application/os and the printer.
What software are using? If you use or Zebra Designer Label Matrix, uses its own drivers. If you use another driver, verify that the graphics option is "dithering". Roberto Martinez
This is defendant on the program you use to print labels with. The printer responds to either a print job sent to the driver (like a standard windows printer). Or you can send an EPL program to the printer in order to use internal barcode generating features of the printer. The dimensions of the barcode are controlled via the EPL script. See the EPL programming guide avaialble on Zebra's website for more info.
