Generic problem for all Vacuums

Shark Euro Pro upright vacuum V1310RS

I have a Shark Euro Pro upright vacuum Model Number V1310RS (also called "Wildcat"). I think I need to replace the belt, but don't know how to get to it. any help?

Most vacuums you either remove the bottom plate, or the top cover comes off. If no screws on the top cover, then turn vac. over and remove the screws on the bottom. Then you should be able to get to the brush roll and belt.

I've got this vacuum. If you didn't fix it yet it takes a good 1/2 hour just to dismantle the dang thing to get to the belt. Have fun!
