Microsoft mobile mouse 3000 device unknown on usb driver . Code 43 .was working lastnight . Now want work . Works on other computer

I suggest that you run the Windows 7 Hardware Troubleshooter on the computer and check to make sure that the mouse is ok.

1. Click Start.

2. Type in Troubleshooting in the Start Search.

3. Click on Hardware and Sound.

4. Click on Hardware Devices.

Now check if that fixes the issue or not.

If the issue still persists, then I suggest that you install the latest drivers manually from the link and install the same and check.

Installation problems for keyboards/mice in XP

Removing the software and reinstalling it using a "clean boot" may resolve the symptoms you are experiencing. Booting clean is a way to eliminate programs from conflicting with installation of software.

1. Download the latest version of the software for your OS from the manufacturer's website.
2. Open the Windows Control Panel.
3. Open the Add / Remove Programs window.
4. Locate the listing for the keyboard/mouse software and remove it. When prompted to remove the keyboard/mouse drivers files, click Yes.

The following is the procedure for a 'clean boot' in Windows XP:

1. Click Start --> Run --> Type MSCONFIG --> Click OK
2. On the General tab, choose Selective Startup
3. Uncheck Process SYSTEM.INI file
4. Uncheck Process WIN.INI file
5. Uncheck Load Startup Items
6. Click on the Services tab
7. At the bottom, check Hide All Microsoft Services
8. Uncheck all boxes in the window or click the button labeled Disable All
6. Click OK
7. Click Restart

After restarting, reinstall the downloaded software. Next, do the following:

1. Click Start --> Run --> Type MSCONFIG--> Click OK
2. Replace checkmarks in the items that you previously removed them from.
3. On the General tab, choose Normal Startup
4. Click OK
5. Click YES, when asked to restart your computer

Hopefully, you should not have any problem now.

My problem is that it seems to click more than once, i.e. when I open my mozilla fox up it will open at least 3 pages of the same. Can I buy a new mouse, and if so will I have to download it again, or can...

Hi rosehughesnz ,

This could be a result of damage that the mouse has got ,
You can get a new mouse as a replacement and there would be no need for you to download anything , unless the new mouse has it's own specific drivers.

If you have a driver CD along with the new mouse , you can just install the driver once you connect your new mouse.

This would be an auto process , as when you plugin the new mouse it would ask you for the location of the driver , in case it's not compatible with the built in drivers of your windows.

Hope this helps ...:)

My logitech cordles mouse m/n M-R0014, p/n810-001882 has stopped working.

Hi,
According to your problem, If you can't access your mouse in your then first check the receiver battery of the mouse is OK. Try to update the external device driver from device manager. You can also try download the device driver from the product website. If it doesn't't help you then replace the mouse.

My house will not move the pointer or click on anything. When I plug it in, the device manager recognizes it as a mouse and it connects without fail; I simply cannot interact with anything on the desktop.

ok here goes, make sure you loaded the cd that was included in the box. i want you to search and get rid of the old mouse driver. then check the transmitter for the wireless mouse make sure the lights are lit. Does the snap in reciver have its green light lit. turn over mouse make sure the light is green while in bottom of mouse. download link for software. you didnt say but if your using windows 7 it is differant drivers so check this link out
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/downloads/default.mspx

but truthfull i think it is recognizing the mouse yes but is using the drivers from your old mouse.

if this helped please spend a moment and rate it to let us better help you

The cursor on my mouse is jumping all over the place, and I can't control it. How can I open the back of my mouse, so that I can clean the ball any thing else in the mouse. I have a Logitech M-S69.

there should be a circle ring around with arrows. Twist it so it opens. Then the ball will fall out. There are 3 places grims will build up. Get some tweezers and pull that stuff off.

You should probably get a laser mouse. I am sure amazon has them for a couple bucks.

Have optical mouse, but no disc

Go to Control panel/ Add new hard-ware or device, click OK, let your system look for a driver don't click "have disk". You should be ok after that.
