This could be one of two things. It's either a firmware fault or a problem with the JetDirect card in the back of the printer. First of all, power the unit off, remove the Jetdirect network card then power it on again. If the error is no longer present i would recommend replacing the jetdirect network card. If it's a 615 jetdirect then this could very well be the fault because they are very prone to causing spurious errors on various printers.If it still fails then it is more than likely to be the Firmware simm on the main control board.
