Many problems have simple solutions. Don't immediately assume that your problem is some combination of esoteric complex convoluted failures.
Your problem may be caused by power input line or power supply output.
Unplug the appliance for a couple of hours and plug it again.
Please say the manufacturer and model number in order to search if there is any schematic or user manual in the web.
If you have user or service manual see if there are troublshooting instructions describing the situation of green light flashing.
A TV which appears to be dead except for a once a second or so tweet or flub usually indicates an overload fault in the power supply or a short in one of its load circuits. In some cases, the low voltage (including B+) will just be reduced to a fraction of their normal value as a result of an overload on one of the outputs - usually the main B+. This may be caused by a shorted rectifier in the power supply, flyback, or even the yoke, but check the the loads first. Wait a few minutes for the filter caps to discharge (but stay away from the CRT HV connector as it may retain a dangerous and painful charge for a long time), use an ohmmeter across the various diodes in the power supply.
Using an ohmmeter on the rectifier diodes, the resistance in at least one direction should be greater than 100 ohms. If it is much less (like 0 or 5 ohms), then the diode is probably bad. Unsolder and check again - it should test infinite (greater than 1M ohms) in one direction.
If you are not familiar with electronics it is better to append to tech service to check and figure out the problem.

Hi,

Since the size of the picture fragment is correct but is missing, my first thought would be to check waveforms going into the vertical output stage. The supply voltage is probably correct since that often determines the size. It almost sounds like the waveform rather than being mostly on (active video) and off for the short blanking period is somehow only on during the last part of the active video thus giving you just the bottom of the picture. If there is a vertical output IC, it may be defective or the blanking input to it may be corrupted. The problem may be as far back as the sync separator.

Check for bad solder connections between the main board and the deflection yoke. Could also be a bad horizontal coil in the yoke, linearity coil, etc.

If you cannot do this by yourself i stronglly reccommend you to get it repaired by a technician. This is the best solution since there is no home remedy to fix your problem.

Goodluck..

The view timer keeps cutting in some time i can watch tv for hours or five minutes does anybody know the answer

Go into Your Menu Settings and check your settings for the timer. Turn it to OFF. That should stop it from popping up. That's a friendly task some people do to limit how much TV They watch. Very normal believe it or not.

YOU HAVE A BAD GREEN CRT. UNIT IS NOT WORTH REPAIRING SINCE YOU WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE ALL 3 CRTS FOR THE UNIT TO SET UP PROPERLY.

Tv cuts off and green light flashes

Yup, it seems a lamp problem can give a blinking green light over the 10 times (1 - 10 times for diagnostic codes), but in my case rather than replace the bulb if it works for a minute then resets with the green light blinking, do what I did.
Take the lamp out and inspect it, it has breather screens top and bottom, if it cant breath because there clogged with dust, clean them, and you can remove the screens, use q-tips and clean the inside. I saved the cost of a lamp and it's working fine!
