Hi Rosstaylor, go to start menu, control panel, sound. Then here go into the Tabs and select the Headset as Mic and Speakers. Apply, Done !
If it does not work, then I suggest you to contact the Logitech support for a replacement this is an hardware
failure and it's covered by warranty terms.
US/Canada support: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/contact
European support: http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/contact

Thanks and have a nice day Julien

I have 2 plugs on my Logitech ClearChat Stereo Headset Headset I have a table top computer where do I pug them

The headphone plug goes into the green jack on the computer. The mic plug goes into the red jack on the computer. The headphone plug with have three segments on the jack, the mic plug will have two, and they'll both be marked. If you're computer doesn't have color jacks, the mic will go into the one with a picture of a mic, the headphones will go into the one with a picture of a headphone or speaker.

I got new Logitech Clearchat stereo headphones. I plugged the two pins into the pc - pink and green. When I do a skype test I hear the message from my computer speakers (settings says Realtek HD..with no...

realtech hd is your sound device. go into windows control panel and access the sound settings then navigate to voice settings click the volume button, your mic might be muted. also if you want the headphones to work plug them into the plug that your speakers are using (side-note: mics and head phones never need something installed to work as long as your sound device works and your definitely does work, only when the mic is a special interface like USB do you need to install software and/or drivers)

Make sure you have selected the audio input when it is plugged in by opening System Preferences -> Sound -> Input -> Highlight "Line In" and see if the volume is set high enough and test again. Make sure you have plugged it into the right port of the computer.

Mic not working when headphone plugged in

Try changing the Windows Default Audio devices
  1. Go to control Panel
  2. Sounds and audio devices
  3. The Audio tab
  4. Then change the Sound Recording Device to Logitech Headphone INPUT
Hopefully this will work

Speakers work with ipod not with laptop

First thing, you have plugged in to the wrong point, plug in the speaker to the headphone slot(mostly light green in color).

MIC point is specifically for MIC not speakers.

The point which works for your headphones would work perfectly for speakers.

My Logitech headphones mic won´t work with windows xp. Can hear, don´t hear me.

Your headphone mic is all right. The problem is with the sound driver you are using. Many a time the headphone jack are not properly connected so it may be another issue for not working of your headphone. Your operating system is all right check out the sound driver setting from the control panel.

Logitech headphones not working with MSN

The internet bandwidth or speed is too low or being occupied by some other programs.Thereby leaving a low speed for the msn to work. The solution would be close some applications using internet or reinstall the msn messenger.
