The drum of my machine really smells and even the washed clothes don't smell that nice. I've cleaned all filters and pipes and tried a hot wash but with no success. Please help.

First i hope you have cleaned out your filter. For the smell: Switch from liquid to powder detergent, no fabric softner, not necessary. Clean the big gasket with detergent and run a half load (without clothes of course) very hot cycle with 2 cups of vinegar only. Leave the door open whenever possible. This helps in drying out your washer and preventing mildew. Shut your wall water valve after your wash
To prevent a smelly washing machine, leave the lid open on the washing machine when a load is removed to allow it time to dry out. If smells do happen, try washing an empty load with hot water and a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. For front loading washing machines, it is vital that you leave the washing machine door open in between loads. You will also need to wipe down the rubber seal of the washing machine. Small bits of debris and hair can become trapped in the crevices. Giving your machine a quick wipe down after each use will prevent smells and mildew. ONCE YOU GET IT CLEANED OUT IT SHOULD BE GOOD AS LONG AS YOU FOLLOW THESE STEPS.

clean the draw out and make sure the rubber door seal is clean if that is all clean then you need to do a cleaning cycle do the hottest wash with the normal detergent now the machine should smell nice hope this helps.
Make shure to do a cleaning cycle. As well, wipe out the inside, the rubber gasket and the door when done washing for the day. We also have found that
leaving the door "Open" for several hours, when finnished, eliminates any future
smells.
I have the same problem with a 3 month old ge front loading washer.after 1 month it started off smelling musty..I thought it was my imagination, now at 3 months old our clothes smell so bad I think we might just have to buy new clothes! everytime I wash a load the clothes smell worse and now you can even smell it just walking into our closet 2 floors up. A new washing washing machine should NOT be doing this! so far leaving the door open in between washes has helped a little but I plan on tipping it back and finding the hidden filter today. Isn't it lovely that they don't mention a filter that needs monthly cleaning or it's location in the manuals?!
