This lacie hard drive was fine--till it wasn't .I can't get my computer to "see" it. I tried restarting my computer, replugging the hard drive. Nothing works,
Have a look in disk management for the drive.
Start > Run > type 'diskmgmt.msc'
If the drive is there and has a blue bar, try changing the drive letter.
If the drive is there, but has a black bar, you will need to recover your data with a recovery software (option - recuva recovery software) and then repartition the drive.
If the drive isn't there at all, you may need to try another USB port, another cable or even another computer.
If none of these options help, you may have to contact Lacie for your support options (possible replacement).
