Question about Samsung HCN4226W 42" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
If you unplug this board and the set runs. then something on the board is shorted. causeing the set to got into protect. if its convergance board like your saying, then you need to replace the 2 ic's on it. i believe they are stk392-040. can't believe people on here would beat around the bush about telling you what it needs. if you are not any good at changing ic's then you need to contact your local repair shop. avg cost would be in the rang of $150 - $350. good luck.
