Go to Pansatusa.com and get the factory bin 2.36 and the loader that 2500 uses or you can do a search on blacklist 1.4 loader.
Hope this works.

Think we all have the same problem today. It must be a data error sent via channel listings. If you unplug ariel and search channels the remote will keep working. I think we just have to wait until the erratic program has been on.

Hey Ryno4606,

It is possible, while rare, for a remote to no longer be programmed to the receiver after a reset. To fix that a simple readdress should fix the problem. I have provided the steps below to assist you with that!

Addressing Remote to Receiver:

1.) Go to System Info screen.
2.) Hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up.
3.) Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the numeric keypad on the remote.
4.) Press the pound (#) button.
5.) Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record.
6.) Test remote and see if works.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi, Cheri Torres with DISH Network Customer Service here. Icame across your post recently and wanted to see if I could help. It soundslike your TV2 remote is going to need to be readdressed. It could be possiblethat your TV1 and TV2 remotes are on the same frequency and remote address oryour TV2 remote may be on the same frequency as another remote in a nearby homeor apartment. I would like to list here for you the instructions on changingyour remote address so that it no longer experiences interference. This shouldbe an easy fix for the issue you are experiencing. I hope this works for youbut if it does not or you have any further questions or concerns about thisissue or any others feel free to email me at Cheri.Torres@DIshnetwork.com and Iwill be happy to help. :)
Instructions for readdressing TV2 remote

  1. Take TV2 remote to TV1 location (in front of the receiver)
  2. Go to System Info screen. You can do this by either pressing the system info button on the front of the receiver box or by pressing the power button once then the channel up button once on the front of the receiver. (You may need to open the little door on the front right side of the receiver box)
  3. Once you are in the system info screen you will see primary remote address(TV1) and secondary remote address(TV2). For your particular situation you will locate TV2
  4. Hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up.
  5. Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the numeric keypad on the remote.Change the number to something different then what is already listed in the white square.
  6. Press the pound (#) button
  7. Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record. Note: If successful the number selected in step 5 will appear in the System Info screen under Remote Address.

Hello! My name is Dan Busa with DISH Network. What you're experiencing is interference from the television set. You can access the tv menu and turn off the backlight on the tv, or order a UHF remote from us. This remote is set to a different type of frequency and should operate fine.

i had a similar problem with an IR system once. thats the thing that makes it so you can hide the box in a closet so you dont have to see it. it was the ir that was the problem and ABT replaced it.

try to find out if the box or the remote causes it. maybe a down button is stuck in on one or the other. if you put away the remote and use the buttons on the front of the box does it still happen?

good luck

Wait a few minutes and the instalation page will appear on screen. Go to update and start as you did before and C5 should be installed. Hope that helps.

My ViP 612 keeps changing the channel on me and deleting and recording things I don't want. It also keep skipping and rewinding shows. What does this mean?

Hi! I will be glad to assist you. Let try to isolate the problem 1st. your channel keeps on changing by itself with out touching the buttons on the remote. My dish remote wont connect to the dish reciever

If you have a single mode receiver, you need to open the panel in front and push system info.
A channel number will appear near the bottom of the list of information... it may be between 1 and 15. Push the record button on your remote control. (the black button with the red dot). If the channel number changed, then your remote and receiver are not on the same channel. Assume your channel was #1. when you first pushed sys info. You need to program your remote to #1. On your remote, push the Sat button until all other top buttons light up. enter the digit 1 and then the # key. Press the record button 4 times. You have to make sure you have the correct color key inserted in the remote control. If you have a dual mode receiver, one remote key will be green, and the second channel remote will have a blue key. Go to the Dish network website tech portal ...Google will help you find it, for complete instructions from the horse's mouth.

TIVO DVR : Won't Change Channels

Set up your infrared blasters connected from your IR port on the Tivo and by placing the two lead lights in front of your cable box so it (the cable box) can read the signal.  Then go to Channel settings accessed through Tivo Central and follow the questions. It will ask you to change channels until the remote is working correctly.  This all worked on a different "input" on my Mitsubishi TV (it has multiple inputs.  I have the cable input on a different "input" to make it work.  Hope this helps.  Call TIVO tech assistance because they are the ones who talked me through this.
