Question about Televison & Video
I have a ford f-150 2004 it was bypassed it first. A friend hit factory reset I quess by mistake. Got a friend that work on car system over here.But we are having problem by passing the break. I dont know the code and he left or forgot the code he his the same radio an his car. Its a phase linear uv8. it was bought last year.
There are two ways of bypassing the brake sensor in a Phase Linear UV8:
1. ground the pink wire using a toggle switch;
2. Use the unit's built-in bypass software.
a. Select "Tuner" mode (AM/FM);
b. Press the "Setup" button;
c. With the use of the remote, press 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and then press and hold 0 for a couple of seconds or until the menu changes. d. d. Display should show hidden menu. Among the options would be to turn ON the "Brake override";
e. Press th "X" on the bottom leftmost corner.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
