X box I have sky broad band and have trouble connecting my Xbox live Do I need to change the seeting to WEP ? I can access x box live but often have to search for network connections If I need to change to Wep how wopuld i do it?

1. In the Xbox Dashboard, go to My Xbox and open System Settings.

2. Select Network Settings, Configure Network.

3. On the Basic Settings tab, select your wireless settings.

4. Select the name (SSID) of your wireless network. If your router isn't broadcasting your network's name, select Specify Unlisted Network and enter the name.

5. If your network has wireless security, enter your WEP or WPA key.

6. Try to connect to Xbox LIVE again.

You can try to reduce the MTU settings on the router. if the MTU on the router is set to 1500 then change the MTU to 1365. Also you will need to open the ports on the router.

For X-box port numbers are - 53, 80-88, 3074 .

Once you have all the wireless settings of the router, you are ready to connect the play station or the x-box to the wireless network.

you can connect using cable, ask any broad band service, or any servers , get number on net...... you can also refer repair guide to fix your connection

Fortunately, the WEP key can be located on the bottom, or backside of the router. If you have changed your router from factory settings, your WEP key is whatever you have changed it to. But if you have not changed it, then it should be on your router. The WEP key is a combination of letters and numbers. If further assistance is needed, please contact me directly. u can but i dont reccomend it as u wont be able to play games properly because the pay and go broad band is very slow

both xbox and live box hve same recieving connections,both waiting to recieve instructions.purchased cross over cable to plug in xbox and live box. lo and behold connected. works perfect.

In order for you to be able to log into Xbox Live, you will need to have DSL or Broad Band internet connect in your home. Once you have that, you will be able to connect the Xbox 360 directly to the Modem that the internet provider gives you. If you wish to able to connect both the Xbox and your notebook to the modem you will then need a router or a wireless router. So, if you do not have DSL or Broad Band Internet service in your home, you will not be able to log into Xbox Live.
