My advice is to replace the main printed circuit board or the LCD panel.
Otherwise take it to an authorised repair agent, they can get the parts cheaper, being an authorised repair agent and see if you are able to get a quote for repairs. I hope this helps.Good luck.

I have my LG LCD flat screen TV, accidentally i bottle of Soda burst on the screen, i wipe it a dried it using a dry cloth, the next morning i have this black spots on my screen, please help

If you are sure its not a stain. then its a dead pixel on your monitor.. sooner or later it will spread out. To be sure if its a dead pixel, run your monitor in different colors, black screen, green, red and blue.. If the spots stays then its dead pixel.. You will be replacing the lcd when time comes that it spreads out.

The picture is unclear with a large red spot in the center

In most cases this requires the replacement of the light engine in these sets. The heat build up in the set slowly damages the LCD panels wich then causes the red spot. The replacement light engines have changed the cooling and filtering to the set. It should last much longer once its replaced. You need to have a technician verify first that this is not just an adjustment. I would say 95% of the time it will be the light engine.

Insignia 42 in plasma tv

cableman try this exactley to the "T" with the instructions in front of you. The procedure resets your monitor to factory settings. On step 13 use the factory setting on the right side menu block not the left. It may or may not work if you have a bad board or eeprom. 1. Using the Volume button (Remote or Monitor) turn the volume all the way down.
2. Hold the Menu button on the Monitor.
3. Press the Menu button on the Remote.
4. Press and hold the Volume button on the remote for 5 seconds and then release the Menu button on the Monitor. After this step the date will appear on the left side of the screen within 10 seconds.
5. Click the Menu button on the remote.
6. Click the Left Arrow button on the remote.
7. By using the Down Arrow button, scroll to Settings and then click the Left Arrow button.
8. Highlight "Eepreset" and click the Left Arrow button. (The monitor will turn off at this time)
9. Push the Power button on the remote, the unit will turn back on.
10. Click the Menu button on the remote.
11. Click the Left Arrow button on the remote.
12. By using the Down Arrow button, scroll to Settings and then click the Left Arrow button.
13. Highlight Factory and click on the Left Arrow button to select "Off"
14. Click Menu on the remote.
15. Click Menu on the remote.

Red spots

I had red and green spots, and I called the service department at the furniture store where we purchased our 42" TV. They said it needed to be updated, and they picked it up, fixed it, and delivered it back to the house for about $25.00. We had a warranty, so it only cost for coming to the house twice... No more spots!
