Can you please tell me what type of washer it is on? I know this, on certian brands, like the Maytag Neptunes, are not removable, you have to replace the whole inner shell part, and is quite expensive and very time consuming (needing special tools, etc.). Let me know what type and model number, and can help you out a touch better. talk to you soon.

- Fridigaire Front Load Washing Machine Model GLTF1670ASO.Problem: During high speed spin cycle, machine shakes, rattles and almost rolls. Also produces a loud fast paced clanging noise as if solid parts are hitting each other during the cycle. Opened the top and observed the function during fast spin and cant determine problem from this view. Doesnt appear that any parts are broken or worn, but havent removed back panel. Also how do you check that shocks are ok, they appear to be.- jonny crane

the frigidaire gallery has a sealed bearing in it and you have to replace the tub half there are no special tools needed just time. it would be best to take it to a repair shop yes its a little costly but it is worth the money. it takes about 1 1/2 hours to fix it with parts on hand
