2001 Gemini electric double oven

Question edited for clarity and toss in a load of CAPS.

Disconnect the element and the fan and check them both for continuity with a multimeter. If the circular element or the fan fails, nothing works, so it could be either.

There are several potential reasons why your Maytag Gemini double oven electric range is still not heating up after replacing the bottom element and thermal sensor and testing the power. Some possibilities include:

1. The wiring or control board may be faulty and preventing the oven from heating up.
2. The upper heating element or broil element may also be faulty and need to be replaced.
3. The oven may not be calibrated properly, which could cause it to not heat up correctly.
4. There may be a problem with the oven's door latch or switch, which could prevent it from heating up.

thermo switch needs replacing on the big one if there 2 different controls.

try turning power off at electrical main switchboard for a minute, then back on. reset clock and see how it goes.
otherwise > call the repair man.

The sensor should ohm at 1100 at room temperature and 1650 at 350. Post back the results.

most likely the element needs replacing, check for arcing holes,melted spots. check fuses, normaly under cover at top of stove. element is easy to replace(a few screws), unplug stove when doing so.

These burners are very simple to replace. Is yours a glass top or does it have coil elements on the top of your stove?

replace the control

just look inside of the oven and look at the left top corner , 1/4" nut drive pull the sensor unplug , and thats it

after power outage clock on oven will not set unless the oven itaelf is on unable to set clock
