Where is the ink absorber even located? I see some object with a flashlight looking to the far right? Is that it? How do you access it and where do you get a new one to change it?

Check your power supply lines are clear and in good condition. Also make sure every plug point is well graounded beacuse this may interfere with any electric/electronic device and cause it to malfuction. Check your USB ports for physical damage. The errors you see may be accidental.

HOW TO SOLVE ERROR 5B00 ON CANON PIXMA MG2400 or resetting software for ink absorbers on canon pixma 2400 for the mentioned error 5b00

The manual and Canon website just say, contact the Canon service centre.
Please check what the net has to say about waste printer ink. When the printer "thinks" the reservoir is full, it could give this error. (not sure if it is the same number) But for some brands you can get little programs to reset that counter. I recently did so for my Epson printer.
Perhaps you should look there. Emptying the reservoir won't reset the counter, but you also should clean out the ink in the waist ink reservoirs.

Error 5b00 how do i fix it

You will have to give the machine to a canon agent as the main ink absorber if full. the machine has to be taken apart for new absorbers to be fitted. It a very messy job and will take a canon trained engineer about an hour to disassemble it. Also the platen ink absorber should be changed too. then finally the software ink absorbers counters will need resetting.

Canon MX340 5B00 error

Error 5B00 refers to the ink absorbers being full. This is a massive job to replace them as they are in the bottom of the machine so the whole engine needs to be removed to fit new ones. Also special software is needed to remove the warning. Its a job for a canon agent. Its a big big and very messy job.

Srri.
By the way the kit you require has a canon part number of QY5-0192.
