Question about Philips Magnavox MDV650 DVD Recorder
Clock can be set but will not run at allMSR90D6 One touch record works but no timed record.
Anybody try to leave the clock on auto-set option and plug it into a cable line so that it auto-updates?

The clock is hosed and probably never worked on these models...it just sits there, it's like there is no clock crystal or whatever they use these days in DVDR's...
BTW: You can get these untis realy cheap on eBay and probably for that very reason-probably recycled units being sold...
You can record manualy ok with them.
Funai Corp. dropped the ball to get these quickly to market...so sad !!
