Question about Intel DG965RY Motherboard
Inetl On board sound has stopped workking very low sound is coming from board
Reinstall the dirver , if not remove the spakers if then allso it is chake the spaker cable

It is definately a hardware problem if you are plugging whichever into the sound slot. The internal speakers are suppose to switch off when you plug into it and visa versa when you unplug.
To fix this most would replace the socket but that would mean you have to get into the computer. Then again if you know what you are doing you fix this up. At some stage some one force something into that socket and expanded it to stop the switch from workking.
